The Recruiter FAST 50 2019 report, prepared by corporate finance house Clearwater International in partnership with Recruiter, lists the fastest-growing, privately-owned Recruitment companies in the UK, according to analysis of revenue compound annual growth rates over the three most recent annual reporting periods.

Mark Maunsell, Associate Director, Business Services Market Intelligence at Clearwater International, told Recruiter: “The FAST 50 is recognition and acknowledgement of the fastest-growing independent recruitment companies in the UK – the ‘best in breed’ recruitment firms that have recorded very positive revenue growth, and are doing something perhaps a little bit different.”

The UK recruitment market is not only the largest in Europe, but it is also the most fragmented. According to Companies House, there are now around 39,000 recruitment agencies in the UK and this number grew by around 9,000 through 2017. Privately-owned recruitment agencies have once again reported strong growth in Recruiter’s FAST 50 2019 – The Curve group placed 32nd in top 50 with compound growth calculated at 25.7%.
