Did You Know That Employment Law Changed in April 2020?
As part of the Government’s Good Work Plan, employment law changed in April 2020. Prior to April, employers had up to eight weeks to provide a Contract for their workers, but from 6 April 2020 contracts need to be issued on the first day. Furthermore, employers are also now required to include additional information in Contracts – information which was not previously required by law, including details such as notice periods, eligibility of sick and other types of leave and conditions of probationary periods.
It is a good time to review your current Contracts, Handbook and Policies to ensure you’re compliant.

· HR Administration and Employee Relations Advice facilitated through a designated HR inbox and phone line, on an ad hoc basis between the hours of 9 a.m. – 5.30 pm, Monday – Friday (excluding public holidays in the United Kingdom).
· Both HR administration and Employee Relations Advice are delivered remotely from our HR delivery centre in Northamptonshire.
· As your team grows or shrinks, we can expand or contract the HR solution to meet your requirements (within the agreed notice period).
· Discounts are available for longer term contracts.
· Additional services available on preferential rate card for HRO customers (i.e. Recruitment, Learning and Development, Outplacement).
