Supporting a major restructuring at Platform 51


Platform 51 was a charity working with girls and women to support them to take control of their lives and reach their potential. It was a campaigning and service delivery charity, offering a range of face to face services through its women’s centres around England and Wales. Its head office was based in Oxford and it also had a small office in London.

The organisation had lost its strategic focus in recent years and this, combined with ongoing financial challenges, was threatening its long term sustainability.  In the spring of 2013, the Board of Trustees agreed that the charity could not continue in its current form.
