Co-owner of The Curve Group is only HR/Recruitment professional on list

The Curve Group, one of the UK’s leading HR Services companies, announces today that Lyndsey Simpson, a co-owner, has been awarded a place on Management Today’s 35 Women Under 35 list. Joining an alumni of Martha Lane Fox; Stella McCartney; Holly Tucker and Elisabeth Murdoch, the list celebrates high-achieving women in business under the age of 35. Lyndsey is the only woman in this year’s list to represent either HR or the recruitment industry.

“I am absolutely delighted to have made such a respected and illustrious list and join the other successful and entrepreneurial women that the scheme celebrates
comments Lyndsey Simpson.

The article that appears in Management Today and The Sunday Times comments that this year’s group are the myth-busters of business; shaking up the perceptions of what it takes to be a leader in every sector, from Premier League football to mining, to engineering and technology. They were chosen for their intelligence, talent, ambition and confidence.

Lyndsey sits on the Board across all five businesses that make up The Curve Group. A high-flyer in the world of Financial Services, Lyndsey spent 11 years undertaking a number of global leadership positions in the Banking and Insurance sectors before coming on board as a co-owner in The Curve Group in 2007. Eight of those years were with Barclays, where her experience covered senior roles in sales, strategy, M&A and proposition development across Barclays’ Retail, Wealth, Commercial and Corporate Banking divisions.

At The Curve Group, Lyndsey takes executive responsibility for its Financial Services clients, Contractor division and all of the legal and marketing activity of the award winning company.

In October 2012 she was named as a Young Gun from Growing Business magazine. Since 2011 she has contributed to The Next Women Newsletter, featured in The Director magazine and written for Fresh Business Thinking. She has recently appeared as a contributor on Executive TV, which is broadcast on Sky and has spoken at many conferences and seminars.
