The debate is hoing up about the use of social media in a business context – how do we use it as an enhancement to business and what are the pitfalls? How to use it effectively is the question we have asked ourselves. We entered the wonderful world of Twier over a year ago – why? As a business it gave us a real opportunity to get our personality across, promote our business, inform and where we could – educate. It has been a success, our followers are close to 1,000, and we have engaged in some useful and insightful conversations. For us the positive feedback about how we do business has been a particular highlight. Facebook was trialled and ditched as it didn’t deliver a business outcome (in our opinion obviously).
